Daisey in the nursery 18/5/12
Welcome to Candycrisp British Shorthair Cats.
Thorne, Doncaster, South Yorkshire.
My name is Paula, I live in Thorne with my husband Pete. I am a GCCF small hobby breeder and my registered prefix is Candycrisp.
I used to breed British Shorthair's, 9 years ago and loved looking after my cats and kittens. I started out with Sassy a chocolate colourpoint and fell in love with a blue and white bi-colour Luna. Both cats came from the Teddycoat line. I then found a beautiful chocolate tortie girl, who's name was Tuttie who produced my largest litter of 7 kittens. 2010 Gina delivered 8 kittens my biggest to date.
Years later I have decided to breed cats once again and I bought Mawbritz Heidi Hi in November 2009. Heidi is quite a character who is very loving and wants to learn all of the time. This includes posing for photo's, she is quite a little model. We now also have Heidis' mum Gina. She is one of the most loving cats I have ever been owned by. She loves a lap and purrrrrrs for England. We have since kept 3 beautiful kittens out of Ginas litter to add to my breeding girls and have also chose a colourpoint to go along side them.
Kittens are handled from birth and for the first 4 weeks of life live in a quiet corner of the living room so are used to all noises and visitors from the start.
Our beautiful stud cat Champion Petticote Supanova has produced some wonderful kittens with my girls for 2011. Also take a look at his show news.
WE HAVE NOW GOT OUR SECOND STUD BOY A BEAUTIFUL CINNAMON AND OUR THIRD A LILAC BOY CARRYING FAWN.
